Buying tickets separately, Alley and Jorge wanted to go see Lizzo with (mutual) friends on Halloween night in 2022. The pair ended up sitting next to each other, unbeknownst the feelings that came next. The vibes were high, energy was electric, and the stranger next to Jorge was slightly annoyed. Alley wanted Jorge to read the room and figure out that she liked him, so she gave a hint by grabbing his hand to "stay safe in the crowd" on the way out. Jorge took that as a chance and asked Alley on a date after the concert.

The One Nostalgic Halloween Night

Alley and Bentley had built a beautiful life together, just the two of them. There’s something special about the bond between a girl and her boy dog.As her relationship with Jorge grew and flourished, Alley knew she was ready for the next step. She secretly planned a hike with friends and told Jorge she needed to stay home to study for grad school....To Jorge’s surprise, he saw Alley across the bridge, and as he crossed, he realized that Bentley was right there beside her. Tucked into Bentley’s collar was a ring and a dog tag that said, "will you be my dad?" Alley and Bentley asked Jorge to join their little family together. And just like that, their next adventure began.

Alley's Proposal

Jorge didn’t exactly catch Alley by surprise, and honestly, that’s hard to do. Alley had big dreams of showing Jorge around her hometown of Jupiter, Florida when they were going to her dear friend Sydney's wedding. She had the itinerary ready… but Jorge kept trying to shut it down. All he wanted was to go to the lighthouse, and he was determined to get there before it even opened.That’s when Alley knew: this was going to be it.So, naturally, as the aesthetic coordinator, she made sure their outfits were ready and on point.They climbed to the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse, and there, with the ocean stretching out around them, Jorge proposed. And even though Alley saw it coming, the feeling was everything. She said yes. And just like that, the couple was engaged… again!

Ceremony - Five o'clock in the evening

The Dove House is a historic estate full of timeless charm and surrounded by lush gardens. Beneath the autumn sky, our ceremony will take place in those gardens, weather permitting.

Cocktail Hour - Half past five in the evening

Illuminated by 32 sparkling chandeliers, the Chandelier Barn will welcome guests to a romantic evening of hors d’oeuvres, where conversation flows and the warm, festive ambiance glimmers with every sparkle.

Dinner - Half Past Six in the Evening

In the intimate setting of the Dove House Dining Room, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully plated dinner. The warm, romantic atmosphere makes each moment feel cozy and unforgettable.

Reception & Dancing - Half Past Seven in the evening

The celebration continues as the evening comes alive with music, laughter, and dancing. Guests are invited to let loose on the dance floor, and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Both hotels are in the same building and check in at the same front desk, so everyone is still together even if you book at separate properties. If you’re traveling in for the wedding, we recommend renting a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle. Colorado weather can be unpredictable (yes, even snow!), and these vehicles make it easier to get around safely. Plus, they’ll give you the freedom to explore the mountains while you’re here.

Downtown Denver offers a vibrant mix of culture, cuisine, and charm. Stroll along the historic streets of Larimer Square, enjoy world-class dining, or sip craft cocktails at one of the many rooftop patios. Spend an afternoon exploring the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (Jorge's suggestion) or the Downtown Aquarium, then wander through beautiful city parks such as Cheesman Park. Whether you prefer shopping, live music, or simply taking in the mountain views, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Hiking

Colorado is very well known for hiking. Everywhere you turn, there is a trailhead waiting for you to go explore! AllTrails is a great resource for hikes. You can access maps, distances, ratings, and Alley's favorite, the trail conditions via recent reviews. Jorge would love to help you find the perfect hike. Anderson Farms grows over 70 different kinds of pumpkins, squash and gourds. With the help from mother nature, cross-pollination gives us some unique additions. Go enjoy wagon rides, corn mazes (and even a Terror on the Corn, a separate event), and pumpkins during the crisp fall season in Colorado!

Bentley Benjamin Robinson

Before we say “I do,” we want to honor someone who shaped our love in quiet, everyday ways. Before marriage, before this celebration, there was Bentley. He was Alley’s companion first, but was very involved in wanting to ask Jorge to be his dad! His role then became to be a cherished member of the family we built together. He grounded us, kept us safe, and showed us what unconditional love truly looks like. Bentley will never be forgotten. We carry the life lessons he gave us in our hearts, now and always. Keep an eye out for subtle nods to Bentley throughout the wedding. Find them all and enjoy a well-earned treat!

In his final act of love, Bentley was donated to the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine to support research into his disease, Degenerative Myelopathy. This disease has parallels to ALS in humans, and there is ongoing research to help both dogs and humans.
